When to start teaching, and should you get a program.

Speaker A:When am I ready to teach?
Speaker A:What I know you're probably more ready than you think, but not for the reason you think.
Speaker A:You don't need to be at the finish line, but you need to be a few steps ahead of the person you're helping you.
Speaker A:Here's the myth that we all hear.
Speaker A:You don't have to be the expert.
Speaker A:You just have to be experienced.
Speaker A:And people will tell you, you have to be the expert.
Speaker A:You don't.
Speaker A:Teaching isn't about knowing everything.
Speaker A:It's about having walked the steps just ahead of the people that you're helping.
Speaker A:So here's the three signs you're ready.
Speaker A:One, people already ask you how you did it.
Speaker A:So a lot of people ask me all the time, like, how do you have a podcast?
Speaker A:How do you start a podcast, Things like that.
Speaker A:Step two, you've gotten a repeatable result.
Speaker A:So are you consistent?
Speaker A:Are your results consistent?
Speaker A:Number three, you can explain the steps, not just the outcome.
Speaker A:Can you teach somebody how to do what you do?
Speaker A:That is the truth behind it.
Speaker A:So the problem with people is they sometimes guess themselves.
Speaker A:The program versus not being ready yet.
Speaker A:A program is not just your offer.
Speaker A:It's your offer delivered as a system.
Speaker A:Don't build a program to figure it out.
Speaker A:Build it because you.
Speaker A:You've already done it.
Speaker A:Start small.
Speaker A:1.
Speaker A:Offer to a few people, get the proof, then you package it up because you've already created what people can do.
Speaker A:The mistake that most people make is they're waiting to feel ready.
Speaker A:You'll wait forever if you wait to feel ready.
Speaker A:Permission is not coming.
Speaker A:Nobody's gonna give you the go ahead.
Speaker A:Nobody's gonna tell you, okay, now's your time.
Speaker A:Nobody's going to help you.
Speaker A:And here's the trap.
Speaker A:Most people don't even realize who they're gonna teach this to.
Speaker A:So what you need to shift your mindset into is your own results.
Speaker A:Like you are the proof.
Speaker A:Your story is the proof.
Speaker A:Remember that.
Speaker A:So I'm going to share a bit of a story with you guys about how I held myself back thinking I would never be ready.
Speaker A:And I used to doubt my credibility.
Speaker A:Like, who am I to be teaching this?
Speaker A:I'm still building.
Speaker A:I haven't become the expert yet.
Speaker A:But here's when I realized I lost £45.
Speaker A:I'm leading teams.
Speaker A:I'm building this brand in real time.
Speaker A:I'm already living proof.
Speaker A:While I'm waiting for permission and I'm wasting time, nobody was coming to give me the permission.
Speaker A:At some point, you have to look at what you've actually done and say that counts.
Speaker A:I can teach that.
Speaker A:If you're waiting to feel ready, this is your sign.
